Our Story

Psalm 100 Music exists to glorify God through music, worship, and the stories of His faithfulness.

Welcome! We're Jim and Helen, and we're glad you're here.

Psalm 100 Music is the result of two people serving God in different ways. Jim has always had a passion for music and worship, while Helen has faithfully supported, encouraged, and prayed through every step of the journey. Although she's not a musician herself, this ministry wouldn't be the same without her love and support.

Over the years, God has given Jim opportunities to serve on worship teams, grow as a musician, and experience firsthand how music can encourage, comfort, teach, and draw people closer to Christ.

Like many believers, our journey hasn't always been easy. God has led us through seasons of joy, seasons of waiting, and seasons that stretched our faith in ways we never expected. Through each one, we've learned that His faithfulness doesn't depend on our circumstances.

Why the Name?

The name Psalm 100 Music comes from one of our favorite passages of Scripture:

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs."

Psalm 100:1–2 (NIV)

Those verses remind us that worship is more than music—it's a response to God's goodness. Music is simply one of the ways we can express our gratitude and proclaim His faithfulness.

This website is a place where we'll share songs, recordings, videos, thoughts about worship, and reflections about faith and everyday life. Our hope is that something you find here will encourage you, strengthen your walk with Christ, or simply remind you of God's goodness.

Over the years, God has blessed us with opportunities to experience His creation, meet wonderful people, and even walk where Jesus walked. Each experience has strengthened our faith and deepened our appreciation for His amazing grace.

Our prayer is that everything you find here points not to us, but to Jesus.

There is much more to our story, including a life-changing event on September 19, 2008, that continues to shape our faith. We'll be sharing that story in a future reflection.
